As part of its move to a single ERP platform, one of Australasia’s largest construction and manufacturing organisations identified an opportunity to consolidate and align reporting across multiple business units. The existing reporting landscape was fragmented, with inconsistent definitions and metrics limiting performance visibility and slowing decision-making. The organisation needed a structured, enterprise-wide reporting framework to enable consistent measurement, transparency, and improved business alignment.

Solution

Luma Analytics partnered with the organisation’s digital transformation programme to design and implement a standardised reporting framework. The solution defined a consistent set of enterprise metrics, established governance and documentation standards, and introduced Power BI dashboard design guidelines, wireframes, and templates. This approach ensured all business units could report in a unified and comparable way, while maintaining flexibility to meet local and functional needs.

Outcomes

The new framework has driven alignment on performance measurement across the organisation, supporting the successful rollout of the new ERP platform. It has improved transparency, consistency, and trust in reporting, enabling leaders to make faster, more accurate, and better-informed decisions. The framework also provides a scalable foundation for future enterprise reporting, automation, and analytics initiatives.
